The artist John Jones receives his number from a man behind a desk, Mr. Almighty, who writes it on his forehead.

The star has a mask of passion, a mask of villainy, and an auguste mask of pure vacancy. 9413 has but the one, sort of human-looking. He dies (film snipped) and goes to Heaven, where his number is rubbed out and a pair of wings supplied.
