To make a Dadaist poem
Take a newspaper. Take some scissors. Select in the newspaper an article having the length
which you intend to give to your poem. Cut out the article. Cut out next with care each of the words which form
that article and place them in a
bag. Shake gently. Take out next each cutting one after the other. Copy conscientiously in the order wherein they have
left the bag. The poem will resemble you. And there you are a writer infinitely original and of a charming sensibility, even
though misunderstood by the vulgar. |
