Half
Shot at Sunrise
AWOL in “Paris,
1918”, two doughboys head for the front belatedly with big plans for
General Hale.
They have been
induced to “go to Hale” by the Colonel’s mistress Olga and
his daughter Annette, who wish to make heroes of the boys, pardoned and
marriageable.
A very charming
comedy with songs.
A billet-doux
from Olga is in the envelope and mercifully never delivered, the Armistice
covers all sins, boys get girls and the Colonel returns to his wife (Edna May
Oliver).
Wheeler and
Woolsey in the Army.
