the patrol on a convoy, a Maquise, she says. Radar equipment was en route
to a new installation.
They stop for
water, she radios her lover, a Colonel. He dies to save her life as the patrol
fights its way out of captivity.
There are
“degrees of guilt,” Moffitt observes. Troy “wouldn’t
mention her” in the report.
