Return of the Rebels

Careless, rambunctious youths dispossess the renters at a lakeside resort, so the proprietress calls in her old schoolchums, a motorcycle gang named the Eagle Rock Rebels, for a reunion ( cf. Larry Cohen’s Original Gangstas).

And thereby hangs a very droll remake of The Magnificent Seven as the gang gears up, takes its position, beats back the enemy, gets caught by surprise counterattack, heads out in retreat, regroups and retakes the resort for good.

Mind you, there is no weaponry of any kind, the climactic battle takes place on the lake with jet skis pursuing a motorboat, it’s simply a matter of the ringleader taking a jump in the lake.
