The Incomparable Max shimmies and flivvers through a two-part one-reeler involving a female medical practitioner with the gift of hands. It’s an excellent joke, and the dapper medium-shot mise-en-scène is really exquisitely tailored to Linder’s “soft” (in the Daliist sense) European style.
