Breaker! Breaker!

Peckinpah came through the following year with Convoy (and Hulette announces this), but Breaker! Breaker! is a purely delightful film that’s really Bad Day at Black Rock, with Chuck Norris as a sort of Frontier Gentleman taking on a disturbingly familiar town, if you know I-40. Hulette has bright cinematography and more than a glancing knowledge of Deliverance and Sergio Leone working for him, and a couple of long shots up his sleeve.
