Charlie’s Angels: Angels on Horseback
A phony land deal
goes sour, the con man flees with his PR girl, kills an innocent bystander as
himself. The angels are called in to investigate this murder at a dude ranch
north of Baja.
The manager is a
blackmailing former partner, also dispatched and with a suicide note as the
killer. The syndicate hires a private detective to trace the con man lest he
spill, two hoods arrive to silence him, interrupting a flight to Mexico.
A chase on
horseback ends it all. Bosley rides the unrideable “Old Sawtooth”
and has to be Rolfed.
Woodrow Parfrey’s
opening turn as the welcoming sheriff, squinting into the sun with a wide
drawl, sets the scene.
