Demolition Man

Demolition Man addresses the major problem of the period, which was finding a language equal to the circumstances. Where RoboCop concentrated on a unique line, Demolition Man sacrifices some impetus for greater articulation by way of a profusion of references (Brave New World, The Time Machine etc.), and was itself essentially remade as Judge Dredd.
