Hell’s Half Acre

The Pacific War, looked at through a strange perspective as past and present at once, a dislodged surrealism presenting the combatants in the story of a sailor killed aboard the Arizona.

The title is Honolulu’s Casbah, the style is an absolute precursor of Freeman’s Hawaii Five-O, all filmed on location, screenplay by Steve Fisher.
