Chausson de visière

Sunup in my body held your arms entwined

Far from my ostrich-egg tomb

I’ll marry howling now and again

Keep not silence if I die the first

Eyelids rusty blue

Teeth luminous

As my desire gathered from the waters

My loins hear no more our hymns

Under the linen shade window

Of dawn indifference

Of the necklace fountain

God smiles.
