wisdom transcendent heart sutra

Avalokiteshvara bodhisattva

was practicing profound wisdom transcendent radiantly

when he saw the fivefold personality is nought

saw o Sariputra

being and nought are no different

nought no different from being

being no different from nought

being here nought there nought here being there

even so sensation thinking will awareness

o Sariputra all dharmas are nought

heed well unborn impure ungrowing unshrinking

hence Sariputra in nought there is

no being no sensation no thinking no will no awareness

no eye ear no nose tongue body mind

no being sound smell taste touch nor dharmas

no seeing even to the realm of vision

no brightness no brightness no brightness exhaustion no brightness exhaustion

even to age no age exhaustion

no suffering end of suffering nor way

no knowing no possessing no witnessing no possession

thus the bodhisattva in wisdom transcendent dwells

wherein thought has no obstacle brightness exhaustion no brightness exhaustion

even to age no brightness exhaustion

no suffering end of suffering nor way

no knowing no possessing no witnessing no possession

thus the bodhisattva in wisdom transcendent dwells

wherein thought has no obstacle thought has no obstacle

no existence fear terror upturn downturn separation

perfectly standing nirvana the three worlds knows as experience

all Buddhas in wisdom transcendent dwell

unsurpassed final perfect knowledge of Buddhaness

therefore come to know

wisdom transcendent the great charm the great clear charm

unsurpassed charm unequaled equal charm

all suffering cease at last in truth actual not vain

wisdom transcendent declared this charm saying

vanished vanished utterly vanished utterly totally vanished enlightened amen
